The Woolrich flannel shirt is one of the most versatile garments in the history of clothing: a timeless classic that is ever present in contemporary fashion.
We paid homage to the iconic buffalo check, originally designed in Pennsylvania in 1850, by creating an exclusive capsule which reintroduces some original pieces from our archives adapted to modern tastes: a selection of thirteen different models for men and three for women in a variety of weights, fabrics and patterns to create endless combinations.
We asked Julie Ragolia and Jordan Schneider to redesign these classic models in a modern way. Julie Ragolia is a New York-born, internationally renowned fashion stylist and consultant.
She divides her time between the US and Milan, collaborating with magazines such as L’Uomo Vogue, Purple and Wall Street Journal.
Jordan Schneider is an art director and stylist for advertising campaigns, fashion shows, photo shoots for brands, magazines and bands such as HighSnobiety, Chase & Status and Bastille.
By combining the capsule with original pieces from Woolrich's archives, they created new outfit ideas that can be seen in a series of editorial shots taken by photographer Fabien Montique. Originally from Barbados, but based in Paris, Fabien has worked as a creative consultant for Kanye West and Virgil Abloh for several years, as well as a photographer for music, fashion, tourism and film projects.
